Urgent notice: Tpad Pakistan DID service for 2010
As you may know, our Pakistan DID Local Access Service is one of our most popular services. It allows people in Pakistan to make international calls, from their landline or mobile, for the price of just a local call - approx. 2.2 rupees.
So, an example would be a normal call from a Pakistan to Saudi Mobile would cost from PCTL or Ufone 18.00+ rupees per minute, but if you use Tpad then we can do the same call for 2.2 rupees which is a massive saving.
Unfortunately, our main provider of Pakistan DIDs and our backup provider can not provide these numbers as of 31/12/09. The Pakistan Government have totally banned these numbers and no other VoIP company can offer these DIDs reliably.
But DON'T WORRY, we have a much better and reliable solution (better call quality / and stability) which you can still use for virtually the same price:
The new Tpad solution for Pakistan DID service:
This is a very simple idea which we have tested and proved that it really works (we checked all call rates from Pakistan) and the cost savings are still massive.
Instead of using Pakistan DIDs (that can be poor quality and unstable), you simply use a Tpad USA DID number (high quality, cheap to call, extremely reliable and will never be busy).
Stay with me as I will explain:
To ring using a Tpad USA DID to a Tpad Number anywhere in the World from a Pakistan Mobile / Landline is only 3 rupees per minute inc. tax
So your family in Pakistan simply dial a USA DID from either their landline or mobile, wait for a message then press 1 then they enter your 7 digit Tpad Number no matter where you are in the World (e.g. Saudi Arabia / Kuwait / Sweden / UK / Qatar / UAE etc)
How to use the New USA DID Service from Pakistan:
1. Your Family in Pakistan dial a USA DID from a landline or mobile (Cost them only 3 rupees per minute)
2. Wait for a message then press 1
3. Wait for another message then they enter your Tpad Number (e.g. 1126789)
4. The call then connects to your VoIP device (Softphone / ATA / IP Phone / Mobile) and you PAY NOTHING.
5. If you are away from your PC / VoIP Device then you can call forward this call to your Mobile where ever in the World, for the cheap Tpad Rate to the country where the mobile is located.

Since Etisalat tookover administration of PTCL they are creating problems and blocking, disturbing VOIP services in pakistan. This is the same company who is blocking VOIP in UAE.
I would like to request overseas pakistanis to write to govt of pakistan thru OPF.

Now, in Pakistan, as U mentioned, Voip is blocked, so, now U will not pay any amount for DID.
It means, this account will be free of charge again!!??

| in the light of new circumstance i suggest Tpad to allow any user to use breakin service whoever have any amount of credit in their a/c instead of imposing compulsory $ 10 purchase every month. |

| yes i think after ending Pakistani DID number there wll be no restriction for topping up $10 as this is done esp for Pakistani DID numbers and USA and all other countries DID number can easily get for £1 per month we are topping up $10 every month just for Pakistan so kindly provide us breakin number free.. thanks |

as u r tell that we can spend that dollar on calling but your calling service not as much good as before.because when we r calling the responce is very bad some time call connected and then it drops,some
time more then 10 time we call on that number then we get the line it is so fristrating.
so we don't need 10 dollar credit.for calling so it batter for us that it is free. |

No disrespect to any one here but if u read around even in this forum u will find your answers, that besides using Pakistan breakin numbers this or any other SIP service u can always use free using sipbroker access number from around the that's how used my Tpad other accounts since I have morethan one account anxious never top my all accounts just to get breakinn numbers, but I agree with u guys here that now there should not be any restrictions to top up $10 every month.

Let say if I’m living in Pakistan and I need to Dial this DID number of USA Like completely 0012568498900 right? My question here is that if I gona dial this number it will not cost me the same charges as we dial the number for USA? And if the person having just only access to dial only local number so then he will not able to call right? Is it possible for me to receive the calls from Pakistan on my PC without paying this sum of amount which is 10$. If so what is the use then it keep on costing me money from both end right?? Thanks for reading my question...I will really appreciate the answer..Thanks in advance..! |

You can receive free calls if someone dials your Tpad Number from a VoIP device in Pakistan.
You have to buy $10 every month to use this service, but you can also spend the $10 on calls aswell.
This service is designed for people in Pakistan to contact their friends in expensive GCC countries like Saudi where it is about 18 rupees per minute. This service will dramatically reduce this cost to around 3 rupees per minute (whatever YOUR teleco provider charges to dial USA).
Your friend in Pakistan will need the international calling enabled or they can simply use their mobile.

How about if I want to test/experience this service without paying10$, that I have no idea how this service will work so for that purpose? I can see some balance in my account which shows like 0.10$ and when I tried to call to Pakistan from that it said that your amount is not sufficient to complete this call something like that? So I have to pay this 10$ every month right as you said above..Question is let say if I finish my 10$ in two days, service of receiving call will block or it will continue for like one complete month…? And I’m living in Saudi Arabia and I’m not using credit card so how I will pay this money? Sorry for inconvenient once again. Thank in advance for your kind reply…! |
